What’s On.
There’s always something to enjoy, from the Community Market on the Village Green every Sunday with its local produce, artisan crafts, and handmade gifts, to a variety of family-friendly activities in the surrounding area, including baby and toddler groups, and Children Gala events. Throughout the year, especially at Christmas and other holidays, Culross and nearby towns host festive events and family outings like the pantomime. For those keen to keep active The Stables offer a choice of exercise and fitness classes, ensuring there’s always something happening for visitors and residents alike.

Ceilidh at The Stables
We are really happy to announce our upcoming Ceilidhs. Our events are open for everybody, so please feel free to bring along your friends and family, they will be more than welcome too.

Yoga Pop Up Events
Defying Gravity. Working with arm balances, building strength into the core muscles and building into Bakasana and Kakasana (Crow and Crane pose). This workshop is about moving past limitations and creating trust. Sunday 12th October 10am.
Surya Namaskar. Working into the ancient practise of Sun Salutations. Breaking down the movements to create a beautiful sequence. Sunday 2nd November 10am.

Walking the St Mungo's Way
A new pilgrim route from Culross Abbey to Glasgow Cathedral inaugurated in the 85th anniversary year of Glasgow being granted the status of being a Bishop’s Burgh.

Pedal & Play
A baby and toddler day (0-5yrs - older siblings welcome). As part of Fife Climate Festival we’ll be welcoming families to The Stables in Culross for a pedal around Preston Island where you can try out trailers, bike seats and a balance bike session (in collaboration with Dirt Divas MTB). They’ll be a play session, toy swap and local food for all - including those not taking part in the cycle! This event is FREE to attend.

Fife Climate Festival
Fife Climate Festival is a celebration of community climate action across Fife, rooted in culture, creativity and connection.
Now in its third edition, the festival runs from 20 September to 19 October 2025 and is attended by hundreds of participants. Events across Fife inspire people to come together in action on climate emergency and make our communities fairer, healthier and more vibrant places to live.
There are fun and interesting events for everyone, and any group can contribute – whether you’re already working on climate issues or just starting out. From football clubs to gardening groups, events might include workshops, film nights, walks, cycle rides, talks or creative sessions. Support is available for participating groups.

If you have damaged clothes and household/garden appliances or toys you just can't bear to throw away, don't! Bring them along and our fabulous team of repairers will do their best to give them a new lease of life, save you money and spare them from landfill.

Grow West Fife Community Lunch

Every Friday @ Walled Garden, Blair Castle
The Grow West Fife Friday Lunch Club offers delicious meals created by their food coordinator using fresh produce from the garden. All sessions are run by dedicated volunteers, and booking is necessary to join.

The Yoga Hut Fife aims to make the practise of yoga inclusive, approachable and joyful. I firmly believe that integrating yoga into your week will improve your physical and mental health, keep you strong and flexible and change your quality of life for the better.

Senior’s & Carer’s Group at The Stables
The Senior’s & Carer’s Group meets twice weekly at Culross Stables on Tuesday’s & Friday’s to be together for company, conversation and lunch, with the added option of exercise & chair yoga for those who wish.

Blaze Trails - Baby & Toddler Walks (Fife and Falkirk)
Blaze Trails is a friendly walking group for parents, carers, and their little ones, offering the chance to enjoy the outdoors while meeting others in the community. The Fife and Falkirk group is mainly based around West Fife, where families come together for relaxed, buggy-friendly, carrier or toddler walks in beautiful local settings. Whether you’re looking to discover new routes, connect with others, or simply get some fresh air with your child, Blaze Trails provides a welcoming space to explore, chat, and make lasting friendships. All walks are free to attend, sign up through the Mighty App for details.

Culross Old Schoolyard Community Garden
There are still flowers blooming, and the leaves have just started to fall, so weekly sessions will continue right through the Winter to look after the Garden during our Thursday morning sessions 10 til 1pm. Everyone is welcome to come along for the coffee & chat as well as a bit of tidying/ gardening! We also need to get going with repairs to the pebble paving – a huge task, and we’d love some help with this!
